Functional Flow for Girls is a fun, supportive movement class designed especially for girls navigating the important years of early adolescence.
Here, girls learn to move well, understand their changing bodies, and build real confidence — all in a friendly, no-judgment space.

Why Functional Flow?

Learn What Their Bodies Can Do

Girls are growing fast — physically, emotionally, socially. These classes teach them how their bodies work and how to move with strength, balance, and coordination.
They’ll discover that their bodies are powerful, capable, and uniquely their own.

Confidence From the Inside Out

As body awareness increases, so can self-doubt. Functional Flow helps girls reconnect with themselves through movement that feels fun, creative, and pressure-free.
We focus on feeling strong, not looking a certain way.

A Safe, Encouraging Space

There’s no competition, no comparison, and no “perfect” way to move.
Just encouragement, exploration, and movement that supports their emotional well-being.

Build Healthy Habits for Life

Our sessions help girls stay active during the years when participation often drops.
They learn skills that support long-term health: mobility, strength, core stability, breathwork, and body awareness.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Ame.

I’m a yoga and functional movement teacher with over six years’ experience. While I continue to work with adults, watching my 10-year-old daughter navigate the physical and emotional changes of growing up has led me to place greater focus on supporting adolescent girls through movement.

I believe movement should help them feel strong, capable, and comfortable in their bodies — not judged or pressured.

My training spans a range of modalities including yoga, functional movement, mobility, breathwork, meditation, and corrective exercise. I’ve completed Dr Stacy Sims’ Next Gen Training: Active Girls for Health and Performance and I’m trained in Children and Youth Mental Health First Aid and Sports First Aid. I hold an Extended DBS and am fully insured.
